Accessibility guide
In our accessibility guide, you can navigate the park based on your needs. For example, you’ll find which restrooms are wheelchair accessible and how the alternative queues work for each ride.
Good to know
- Between the Small and Main areas there are steep stairs, so we recommend that anyone using a wheelchair or stroller instead uses the Main Entrance or the Tyroler Entrance. Talk to our entrance hosts and they’ll help you.
- Working service dogs are welcome, but it’s not something we recommend as it’s a lively environment with lots of sensory impressions
Public transport, special transport service and parking
- Stops for bus, tram and boat are just a stone’s throw from the main entrance. They are raised and wheelchair-accessible.
- Special transport service can pick up and drop off guests close to the entrance.
- There are a limited number of parking spaces opposite the park, with reserved spaces for guests with reduced mobility located by the Ticket Center.
Rides
In the accessibility leaflet you can read about which rides are accessible for guests using a wheelchair and how the alternative queues work for each ride. Under certificates and alternative queue, you can read what applies for companions and how guests with disabilities can access the alternative queue.
Quiet places
Gröna Lund is a park full of impressions and sounds. Guests who want to find a slightly quieter spot are referred to Classic café or the pier below the Boardwalk. Hearing protection for both children and adults is available to buy in the Coke store shop.
Food & drink
Guests using wheelchairs are recommended Restaurang Kaskad (by House of Nightmares) and Classic by Hunger-Gnutten (behind Small stage). All restaurants offer lactose-free, gluten-free and vegetarian options. Allergies? Please ask the staff to read the menu aloud or help you during serving. Restaurang Kaskad is completely nut-free.
Concerts
To ensure our guests using wheelchairs or with hidden disabilities can enjoy our concerts, we have designated areas. For guests with hidden disabilities, a certificate is required to use these areas. Read more about it here.
