The Cardigans
The Cardigans formed in Jönköping in the early ’90s and broke through internationally with albums like Life, First Band On The Moon, and Gran Turismo. With songs such as “Lovefool,” “My Favourite Game,” and “Erase/Rewind,” the band became a global phenomenon, selling millions of albums worldwide.
After their breakthrough, they went on world tours, won Grammis awards, and achieved a level of international success that few Swedish bands can match. Since their live comeback in 2012, The Cardigans have continued to perform for audiences around the globe. Guitarist and songwriter Peter Svensson hasn’t played live with the band since then and is replaced on stage by Oskar Humlebo, also known as Motoboy.
