Do you have a disability and need a companion or ride assistance (alternative queue) to have a great day with us? We’re now introducing a new certificate to make your visit easier! Here you’ll find all the information on how it works.

    Here’s what to do:

    1. Download and print the certificate.
    2. Have the certificate signed by someone who is familiar with your disability and works in healthcare, support services, or education (see below under “Who can sign my certificate?”). * This person states whether you need ride assistance and/or a companion.
    3. Bring the certificate either as a paper copy or as a photo on your phone and show it at the Ticket Center outside the park or at Guest Service inside the Main Entrance. If you are under 18, an adult must accompany you when you show the certificate.

Do not send the certificate in advance; it must be presented on site.

When you present the certificate, our staff will ask if you want them to save the information digitally in My Pages. If you say yes, you won’t need to bring the certificate again for the next three years — no matter whether you visit Gröna Lund, Kolmården, Furuviksparken, or Skara Sommarland.

We also accept Liseberg’s certificate. International certificates such as the EU Disability Card are also valid for companion access and ride assistance. If you have any of these certificates, you can bring them instead of downloading and filling out a new one here.

    What is ride assistance?

Ride assistance means you get access to an alternative queue. If you use a wheelchair, you enter via the ride exit, via an elevator, or via the Jetpass queue. If you have another disability, you use the Jetpass queue where available. What applies to each ride is indicated in the accessibility guide. The alternative queues are almost always shorter.

    Who can sign my certificate?

A person who is familiar with your disability and works in healthcare, support services, or education can sign.

Those who can sign the certificate are:

    • Healthcare professionals, such as a doctor, nurse, psychologist, counsellor, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, or speech and language therapist
    • A special education teacher, teacher, or teaching assistant in an adapted school, preschool, or school
    • A support educator or housing support worker
    • Assistance company

How long is the certificate valid?

    Three years from the signing.

    I use a wheelchair—do I need to bring documentation?

No—if you use a wheelchair, you don’t need a certificate to receive ride assistance, since it’s clear to our staff that you can’t use the other queues. However, if you want to bring a companion with you, you do need the certificate.

If you have another disability and need ride assistance and/or a companion, you must always bring a certificate (or have it registered in My Pages from a previous visit).

If you use a wheelchair, you may also stay on the ride for up to two additional rides after your first, as getting on and off can be a bit tricky.

    Who can be my companion?

Your companion must be at least 16 years old and able to show valid ID. The companion is responsible for supporting you throughout your entire visit.

Does my companion get in for free?

Yes, with a valid certificate your companion gets in for free. As a guest, you pay the regular price. If you purchase a ride pass or another ride product, your companion can ride with you on the rides.

How many companions can I bring into the park?

One or two companions, depending on what your certificate states. If you need more companions, they pay the regular price.

How many people can join me in the alternative queue?

It depends on whether you use a wheelchair or not:

    • Wheelchair: You may bring two people, since you may need help getting in and out of the ride.
    • Other disabilities: You may bring one person, either a companion or someone else in your party. If you have two companions, both may join you.

How is my personal data handled?

We do not keep your certificate and do not store any information from it without your consent.

If you choose to register your needs on My Pages, we will store your name, date of birth, and whether you need ride assistance and/or an escort. Registration is completely voluntary. If you are a minor, consent from a legal guardian is required.
