The debut single "Tabanja" in 2015 was the starting point for her musical career and in the same year she was also nominated for "Newcomer of the Year" and "Music Video of the Year" at the Swedish Grammy Awards. The coming year was strengthened with the debut album "Sherihan" with songs like "Lämna Han", "Tusen stjärnor" and "Aldrig Igen" which also received a guest appearance from Stormzy himself.
Cherrie likes to highlight her roots, show constant support for her hometown and show the way for the younger generation. In 2021, she was one of the participants in "Så Mycket Bättre", where she did, among other things, a celebrated version of Peter Jöback's "Stockholm i natt". She is Sweden's own r'n'b queen who has been awarded both P3 Gold and a Swedish Grammy. On June 27 at 21.00 we are proud to once again welcome Cherrie to Gröna Lund's Big Stage.
