The Stockholm band is one of the most influential acts in the Swedish punk scene and has succeeded in the art of spicing up their melodic songs with socially critical lyrics and humorous elements! Their music has influences from classic punk rock, but also from folk songs and pop melodies. The band's song and album titles are clearly De Lyckliga Kompisarna's signatures and in 1990 they debuted with the EP Le som en fotomodell and had a big breakthrough with the album Hockeyfrisyr (1993), where the song Ishockeyfrisyr became one of their biggest hits.
