    Division 7

One of Sweden’s most uncompromising indie bands takes the stage as Division 7 plays at Gröna Lund’s Small stage on August 15.

At a time when trends shift fast, Division 7 have chosen to go their own way. In a short span, they’ve released three acclaimed albums, several EPs, and a live album — all while building a devoted following with zero backing from major labels. With an intense live engine and shows that boil over with energy, the band have become known for turning every gig into something that feels like a terrace party.

On March 27, they released their third studio album, “Långbro feelin’” — one of their most personal and bare-all works to date. The album moves between hospital rooms and living rooms, childhood memories and broken relationships, portraying mental vulnerability, identity, and love’s double-edged nature.

At the same time, the album carries a clear sense of hope. In the middle of the darkness, there’s a new direction — a more positive outlook on life and a self-awareness the band themselves describe with the words: “We can smile too.” With collaborations like the one with Thomas Stenström, Division 7 have further strengthened their position as one of Sweden’s most relevant indie acts right now.

On August 15, Division 7 take the stage at Gröna Lund’s Small stage for a night where powerful lyrics, raw energy, and intense presence take center stage.
