    Horndal

The metal band takes its name and inspiration from the small mining town of Horndal in Dalarna, a place marked by the closure of its steel mill and the economic and social consequences of industrial decay. The band's debut album Remains (2019) and follow-up Lake Drinker (2021) are conceptual works based on the history of Horndal and its inhabitants, where stories about the real town are mixed with mythology and fictional horror stories.
