Petter made his breakthrough in 1998 with his debut album "Mitt sjätte sinne," which was not only a huge success but also paved the way for Swedish hip hop on a broad scale. That same year, he won three Grammis awards and was named Artist of the Year both in 1998 and 1999. With his personal lyrics, distinctive voice, and strong stage presence, he has been a driving force in Swedish music for over 25 years.

Since then, Petter has released a number of acclaimed albums, including Bananrepubliken, P, God damn it, En räddare i nöden, Skeppsholmen, Början på allt, and Lev nu dö sen. In 2025, he continued to push the genre forward through the project Petter med Getter, where he collaborated with up-and-coming voices in Swedish hip hop. The EP of the same name was released in April, featuring tracks like “Thug” with ADAAM and “Getsnack” with Imenella.

Beyond music, Petter is also active as an entrepreneur and artist, with projects ranging from literature and wine to art exhibitions and lectures—always focusing on creativity and drive.

Now it's time for Petter to once again meet Gröna Lund's audience on Friday, May 8—for an evening filled with classics, new music, and a powerful presence on the Big stage.
