Sepultura are undoubtedly one of Brazil's biggest musical exports, with a career spanning four decades. Sepultura have racked up nearly half a billion streams. This includes their iconic 1996 album Roots, which alone has racked up over 150 million streams. Roots is one of their most iconic albums and has had a huge influence on the metal genre, especially with its Brazilian musical heritage and traditions, which have been so significant that they continue to inspire bands today.

At the end of 2023, Sepultura announced their plans to join forces for a powerful farewell tour, thus putting an end to one of the world's longest metal careers. For this final journey, Sepultura has hired the talented 21-year-old American Greyson Nekrutman as their new drummer.

Together, Sepultura will go on tour and treat their fans to a career-spanning set of songs that celebrate Sepultura's forty-year history. On their farewell tour, the band from Belo Horizonte will stop in our Swedish capital and take over the Stora Scenen at Gröna Lund on June 9.
