The stone rock band from Norrköping was formed in 2009 and immediately started playing a lot of live shows, but it was not until 2011 that their first studio album; Äppelträdet was released. Skraeckoedlan has made a name for themselves through their heavy, fuzzy sound and lyrics inspired by science fiction, mysticism and surreal stories. Skräcködlan mixes elements of stoner rock, doom metal and progressive rock, often compared to bands like Kyuss, Mastodon and Truckfighters.
